Tarik Akbik
Mr. Tarik Akbik is a fourth degree black belt and the chief instructor at Infinity Martial Arts Fitchburg.
Mr. Akbik began his martial arts journey at the age of four. During his high school years he started competing nationally, after joining a couple of different national teams, he found a home on world-renowned Team Infinity.
After high school, he attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he graduated with a BA in education, with an emphasis on health, and human performance. He loves integrating his passions for fitness and martial arts into one. The result being a fun, high energy environment for every class.
Mr. Akbik’s favorite thing about teaching martial arts is watching children and adults grow in both skill and confidence as they continue their training throughout the years.
