Justin Godfriaux
Justin Godfriaux, otherwise known as Mr. G, has been practicing martial arts for almost 40 years. He started in 1987 and in 1991, earned his black belt from Master Randy Beck alongside his father, Steve. He taught at his father's school in Janesville until 2012, when he moved to Cottage Grove and became Chief Instructor and Curriculum Designer for Master Beck's Karate America. In 2018, he purchased the school from Master Beck and joined the Infinity Martial Arts system in order to collaborate with fellow martial artists on a bigger mission.
Justin has trained in many styles over the years including Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga, Sport Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing, Escrima stick fighting, Gun & Knife defenses and Judo. He is passionate about self-defense and character development, and his most rewarding moments come from helping others overcome their challenges and reaching their goals on and off the mat.
